Our History
Horus-Bronze Corp is a division of Les Metalliers Champenois from France (LMC). Founded by Jean Bourly more than 35 years ago in the Champagne area, LMC has earned a reputation for unparalleled quality and workmanship.
The renovation of the grilles of the Place Stanislas in Nancy, France, in 1982 and the refurbishment of the Statue of the Liberty in New York in 1984 are among the most prestigious comissions LMC has been involved in.
Artisans at Horus-bronze/LMC are part of the Compagnons du Tour de France – a tradition serving European guild of metal craftsmen. In 2007, the company was awarded the label of ‘’ Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant’’ from the French gouvernment thanks to its contribution to the revival of traditional craftmanship.
Horus-Bronze/LMC also believes in future generations of metalsmith artisans and is committed to the transmission of its savoir-faire by welcoming and trainings apprentices.
